We travelled to Paris as a couple. My wife's been looking at many hotels but this one was the best choice and we didn't regret it.The staff was very nice and polite from the guys at the reception to the ladies serving breakfast. The room was small but very charming and clean. The location is perfect walking distance to Notre Dame and Lourve museum we even managed to walk to Eifel tower( good walking shoes is a must). Eating out is no problem you'll find many restaurants and cafes near the hotel. In overall we had fantastic stay at the jardin de l'odeon hotel strongly recommended. Merci xx

Location was great. Staff friendly and helpful. Room was small but well appointed and clean. Bed comfortable. Windows are dual paned and shut out nearly 100% of street noise.
Only complaint is that staff did not give us a 5 am wakeup call as requested the night before.
-
Nice rooms in a lovely area. Very helpful staff. Quiet room at night and near lots of restaurants, shops and bars.

Considering the generally small size of hotel rooms in Paris (this is our third trip -- first time at the this hotel), we were pleasantly surprised at the size of our room. It was not large but very adequate and we did not have to step over our luggage to move around the room. There was very adequate closet space, good bathroom and a room safe.

A really wonderful botique hotel in the best location near lots of food, shopping and night life but on a street a bit set back so quite enough for being in the middle of a big city. Great that it was two short blocks back from the Luxenbourgh Gardens and very convient to the metro. Staff was what made the difference. Always helpful with a smile and honest concern that you are enjoying your stay and did their best to give info or make reservations. Rooms are clean with nice decor. Standard smallish size but hey this is Paris and who's staying in the room! The best ever water pressure and hot water I have ever seen and I travel alot! I would go back!
The matress do need to be changed and were not the most comfortable. But that's the only thing.

We were in room 65 on the top floor w/ terrace. It's a very nice, good-sized (for Paris) room w/ desk, separate sitting area (w/ small table), very comfortable bed and a good-sized terrace w/ a view of the Odeon Theater. The hotel is on a super quiet street but only 2 blocks from Blvd St Germain and 2-3 from Blvd St Michel. Pubs, taverns, restaurants and shops galore are within 5-10 minutes walk.
My only complaint about the room was the shower... It's a large tub w/ a hand-held shower head. The hand-held part was my only dislike. I was able to "McGuyver" the shower head above the shower curtain so it stayed up but still...Breakfast was okay (we ate their breakfast only once) but not quite worth the € 12 per person.

small rooms, weak internet commection

It is situated in a very good and safe location with proximity to all means of transport. The location is so good that you can walk almost anywhere.
-
I loved the room, location and the staff.
-
The hotel is in a great location on the left bank in the Latin Quarter, with lots of nice bars and cafes nearby with a relaxed atmosphere. The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful and the standard of the hotel is excellent. The room was very nice and maintained very well. Would definitely stay there again.
The only real minus point is that for the price they could have included a light breakfast buffet, however not a problem as there are some great cafes nearby. The other minor point is that there is no tea/coffee making facility in the room, but not a problem if you have a handy travel kettle from Argos! :)
-
Excellent location - practically on boulevard Saint Germain and very close to the metro station. The room was comfortable and quiet.
One minor thing - the water from the shower got onto the floor.
-
Location, and the assitance of the staff.
Breakfast over priced.
-
Very friendly staff, bathrobes, good bed, wireless, quiet, nice windows.
Only beer available in the library; please add wine.
-
It was very clean, in a good position and the staff are excellant.
The single bed was a little hard and if you are a single person needing space book a double room.
-
Spotlessly clean, stylish and welcoming this was the best hotel i have yet used in paris.
